“A family is sustained by love and respect, history and tradition.” The biggest fish carries within itself other fishes symbolizing the protective role of the head of the family. Like a shelter the loving and powerful father protects his next
generations from all possible dangers. The pattern used on the fins of the biggest fish repeats on the others, representing the traditions and values preserved and passed down from generation to generation.
In 2013 this artworks has been shortlisted in the open worldwide competition: “Wildlife Artist of the Year 2013” organized by David Shepherd foundation. It has been exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London (between 3rd – 8th June 2013) see:
